I had the chance to volunteer at this hotel for 3 weeks, and honestly, it became one of the best hostel experiences I’ve ever had.
If you are a woman, they will upgrade your booking to female only dorm and the female only dorm has its own space for women only
Staff were friendly and I would highly recommend if you’re staying in KL and want an accom with an atmosphere (but not party orientated).
Very cool hostel in the heart of Bukit Bintang. The price is very fair, its clean, and the staff is lovely.
Had a great time here, the location was perfect to get to different places with the Bukit Bintang MRT so close by.
The ones that come up most, answered plainly.

That is most of who stays here. Travelogue Guesthouse is a social hostel in Bukit Bintang and most guests arrive on their own: there is a walk or a group dinner on most days, all of it free to join, and nobody signs up in pairs. There is also a female-only dorm with keycard access.

More than a place to sleep
The common area is the whole point. It is where the day gets planned, where somebody talks you into the night tour, and where you end up eating with six people you had never met that morning.
You are in before you unpack
Ask at reception and somebody puts you in the group chat.
Every activity meets here
So does the rooftop crowd on games night.

Guests leave a note before they go. It has not had a bare patch in years.
